Long and Synthetic Division Practice
Long and Syn Division Practice!!!!
Alright guys! Here is some practice for both divisions. Take responsibility for your learning, and practice! The answer key is provided to aid you, not to be a crutch.
Hint: Remember, when your divisor does not have a leading coefficient of 1 (like number 15), you HAVE to use Long Division.

I HIGHLY recommend taking
notes on the videos and you MUST do at least 3 (THREE) examples per example tutorial. Because of the recent snow
days, we have to push through quickly, so let’s stay on topic and focus…and take responsibility for your
learning, too.

Dear Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to the T. Wingate High School, home of the Mighty Red
Raiders. My name is Ms. Taylor and it is a pleasure to be teaching your child
this year.
I have planned an exciting set of activities to aid your
child in becoming a master of the math curriculum. During the school year, we
will be using various hands-on activities, projects and computer software to
supplement and enhance the learning experience. Before we can successfully
educate your child; there will need to be a partnership between parents,
teachers and the student. So I will be calling on you to aid me in this journey
with your child.
With this in mind, here are some of the things your child
will need to be successful in math this year:
v His
or her self-determination to learn and succeed
v Your
support
v Graphing
Calculator (to be used at home)
v Highlighters
v (1)
1-inch binder with at least 10 clear inserts
If you ever have any questions concerning your child, feel
free to contact me at the above phone number or email address. Please remember
that early intervention is the best approach. Tutorial will be offered after
school. I encourage you to send your child to tutorial often to enhance
material presented in class.
To make this adventure excellent, I have attached a
Question/Comment area for your input.
This area can include preferred seating for your child, preferred method
of contact, or any advice on helping your child succeed in this course. Feel free to include an email or phone number
for receipt that I received your request.
I look forward to working with both you and your child as we
take this journey together.
Sincerely,
Ms. Taylor
